My work focuses on the learning and development others including one to one as a coach, with teams as a facilitator or coach, and as a trainer on courses on Authentic Conversations for Leadership, Influencing, Presence and Impact and Facilitation Skills. My background in retail operations management and Human Resource Management paved the way for my fourteen years in Management Consulting, Coaching and Facilitating teams. I am licensed to use Myers Briggs Type Indicator, EQi 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Tool and SHL bank of Psychometric questionnaires. I have an MSc in Coaching and have latterly undertaken specialist training in Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Negotiating. I am a member of the CIPD and I comply with the standards of the EMCC.
Recent assignments have included designing and delivering in partnership with a University, a module for a Leadership Development programme for leaders in the tourism sector. The delegates reported an increased awareness of their impact on others, a better understanding of different personalities, and confidence to lead in tricky influencing situations.
A FTSE 100 organisation wanted to provide extra support for a senior female talent pool as part of the organisation’s diversity strategy. The coaching clients reported an increased awareness of networking, and power politics, clarity about their careers and an overall sense of confidence.
I have designed and delivered team development ‘away days’ looking at vision, strategy and helping them to have robust conversations for a number of clients from Board level downwards. I have also integrated team development and coaching over a number of workshops with a group of our 2gether Partnership coaches to help build trust at an individual level as well as between team members, to increase their motivation, develop their awareness, commitment and accountability.
