I have been working in the arena of Leadership Development and Executive Coaching for many years. At RBS and Motorola University, I developed numerous innovative executive development programmes with many of the world’s leading business schools. I have continued with this specialism and have been able to support a number of corporate clients in forming their academic leadership development portfolio.
At Saïd Business School, University of Oxford I was appointed Associate Fellow in 2010 where I act as Programme Director for several major clients, including Standard Chartered Banks ‘Leading Across Boundaries’ programme. The programme combines a blend of faculty, practitioners and application to solving real business issues.
As the Project Director for an MSc in Leadership Practice for NHS Lothian, I helped to facilitate a programme that brought the leading thinkers from Harvard Business School together with Learning Coaches from Edinburgh Napier University. The blended approach was a great success. The course ran over two years and involved 50 delegates in one cohort with academic staff numbering approximately fifteen. The dissertations and recommendations from the delegates have resulted in significant audited savings.
